Freelance Lecturer (m/f/d) Wanted — Module „Converging Technological Trends“

What you’ll do in class:

•⁠  ⁠Trend analysis & theory: guide students in critically analysing current developments in media technology — mobility, ubiquity, convergence, including newer phenomena like AI-assisted tools — with close readings, discussion, and a healthy scepticism toward hype

•⁠  ⁠Hands-on practice: run practical exercises (a simple web form, a small coding project, applied use of CMS/streaming/app-dev tools, incl. AI-assisted workflows where relevant)

We’re looking for someone with:

•⁠  ⁠Academic/analytical grounding in media technology or a related field

•⁠  ⁠Real-world, hands-on experience in web or app development

•⁠  ⁠Comfort teaching basic coding/markup to beginners

•⁠  ⁠Teaching language: English

Likely scheduled Tuesday afternoons starting in October. Exam: term paper.
