The Master’s program in Corporate Sustainability Management combines management, business intelligence, sustainable brand management and leadership. Course content and Teaching

The program takes a holistic approach: sustainability is not viewed in isolation, but understood as an integrated management and governance task within a social context. Alongside fundamentals in business administration and strategy, you will acquire skills in sustainability communication, business intelligence, ESG reporting, leadership and resilience.

Teaching is interdisciplinary, practice-oriented and project-based. Real-world case studies, application-focused projects and current challenges from companies, NGOs and public institutions form an integral part of the curriculum.

Modules

The curriculum is structured into five core modules:

Sustainable Management
International corporate strategies, governance, political frameworks and sustainable business models.

Sustainable Leadership
Leadership, change management, corporate health, resilience and social transformation.

Sustainable Marketing
Sustainable branding, purpose management, stakeholder engagement and consumer psychology.

Business Intelligence
Statistics, market research, sustainability reporting (CSRD/ESRS), data science and analytics.

Master’s Thesis
A scientific thesis addressing a practical issue related to sustainable transformation.

Dual studies – studying and working

The program is designed to be flexible, allowing it to be combined with professional activities or practical projects. Many modules use project-oriented assessments, enabling students to apply their learning directly in their professional work — for example, in sustainable branding, purpose management, stakeholder engagement or consumer psychology. This approach allows students to immediately translate their knowledge into strategic, communicative and psychologically informed decisions.

Credit

Academic achievements previously completed in related Master’s or certificate programmes may be credited upon request. Individual assessment is carried out by the Examination Board.
