Student Tutors (m/f/d) wanted – Advanced Statistics

Psychology | Master’s Level | Media University – Berlin & Frankfurt/Main Campuses

We are currently looking to fill two tutor positions in the field of Multivariate Data Analysis, preferably with psychology master’s students or doctoral candidates.

Media University was founded in 2008 under the name HMKW – University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management. It is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences and is accredited by FIBAA. MU operates at locations in Berlin and Cologne as well as in Frankfurt am Main. Since summer 2020, the university has been part of the European university network ADE. Media University offers exciting, media-oriented degree programs in the departments of Design, Journalism and Communication, Psychology, and Business.

(Course language: English)

Required skills:

• Proficiency in R is mandatory (other tools like JASP or jamovi are a plus)

Position details:

• Start: Immediately, until mid-February 2026
• 4–5 hours per week, including at least 2 hours on-site (Berlin & Frankfurt)
• Contract type: Student assistant (HiWi)
• Possibility of extension in the summer semester

Goal:

Support psychology master’s students in understanding and applying statistical methods covered in the course, and preparing for exams.
